New Rio Products Skagit Max Launch and Max Power
For 2021, Rio Products fine-tune their popular Skagit Max and Skagit Max Short just in time for our winter steelhead campaign. I sit down with Simon Gawesworth to discuss the improvements, learning more about how they transfer power through the head to the sink-tip culminating in a more energy-efficient cast. Skagit casting has never been a presentation type of cast. In the Spey angler's toolbox, the Skagit set-up is more like a hammer that comes out when tossing sink-tips and big flies are required. Now, with the new Max Launch and Max Power, anglers can maximize the power of their rod for greater distance and accuracy.
