Join us on July 18th from 10:30 to 3:00 for Kids' Fly Fishing Day!
Casting games, fly tying, hot dogs, Face Painting, and the world-famous "Bug Boat" return for Kid's Fly Fishing Day 2025. Load up the family Truckster with all the neighborhood youngsters and bring them down for a day of fun and fly fishing. We'll have staff and volunteers on hand to share the basics of the sport we all love. Start them early, and teach them to love the outdoors!

Casting Games and Prizes! Learn the basics of fly casting and win prizes! Young anglers will receive a "Fly Fishing License" to complete during their visit to qualify for our Echo Gecko giveaway.

Hands-on Fly Tying at the Tyer's Table. Learn the Art of Fly Tying and take home a new "Secret Fly. Kids of all ages are invited to try their hand at fly tying at the Tyer's Table. We'll have volunteers on hand to help you craft that special fly to catch the big one! Materials, hooks, vises, tools, and expert instruction will be provided.

Learn about aquatic insects and other underwater creatures at the world-famous "Bug Boat." Stop at the "Bug Boat" and check off which bugs and other critters you spot swimming or crawling between the rocks. Young anglers who check all the boxes on their "Fly Fishing License" will be entered into a drawing to win one of three Echo Gecko Fly Rods from our friends at Rajeff Sports/Echo.
Free Hotdogs and Lemonade from 11:30 to 1:00 for all!
