Going Out Swinging

I'm still buzzing from the thrill of landing my first steelhead on a Spey rod on the Deschutes River! The powerful run, the rush of adrenaline as the fish ran off, and the sense of accomplishment when I finally landed the beauty, it was like nothing I've ever experienced before!

What made it even more special was exploring a new stretch of the Deschutes River, a hidden gem known for its wild steelhead population. The entire experience was truly magical, and I couldn't wait to get back out there and do it all again!

My most sincere thanks to Josh Linn for showing me the lower Deschutes and giving me the opportunity to catch such a beautiful fish! And to all of my friends for your support and interest in my fishing adventures. These are the memories that will last a lifetime!
