My good friend, Brian Silvey, has been working with Winston Fly Rods in Twin Bridges, Montana, helping their land-locked designers better understand the needs of Northwest Spey casters. The new Air TH series of rods born from this collaboration are simply fantastic. I sit down with Brian on ZOOM and discuss the design process, and learn a little about his other projects.
