Win a Trip to XFlats at Xcalak

Our trip to Xflats is sold out, but you can win a trip to this special destination...

The co-founder and fishing director of The Xflats, Chad Sperry’s two-year-old nephew William “Billy” has been diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a rare pediatric cancer. Between May and November of 2023, Billy underwent surgery to remove the grapefruit-sized tumor on his liver, as well as 12 rounds of chemotherapy. It appeared Billy had won his battle. Unfortunately, the most recent scans after Christmas showed that the tumor had not only returned but regrown to its original size, along with additional nodules. This fight continues to be tough, but Billy remains a strong, happy, silly two-year-old. Thank you so much to everyone for supporting Billy and the Xflats family. Join Billy’s Corner and help out for a good cause and the chance to join us at The Xflats.

Here are the details of our hosted trip to Xflats in May of 2024...

Nestled just north of the small fishing village of Xcalak (pronounced ish-kalak), the Xflats Lodge at Tierra Maya is an exciting destination offering immediate access to the world-renowned flats of the Chetumal Bay area. The lodge is situated overlooking the ocean on a quiet and undeveloped stretch of beach, ideally situated to offer anglers incredible opportunities to focus on the “Big Three” flats species — tarpon, permit, and bonefish. Xflats is one of the more popular operations in the Caribbean, with a staff and guide team that is second to none. This is quickly becoming one of the top Yucatan permit lodges!
