Tyer's Table with Liam and Rick Sabol

Have you ever seen one of those dad-and-son teams that just makes you smile? You might have that relationship now with your kids and if you do, I applaud you. Rick Sabol and his awesome boys, Liam and Adam are no strangers to Royal Treatment. We’ve watched this kiddo from a young age following in their father‘s footsteps with a passion for all types of fishing and unique fly tying.

I distinctly remember when Liam brought me in a beautifully tied summer steelhead fly as a thank-you for helping him at the shop one day. That was a couple of years ago, and it is with the same pleasure that we welcome Rick and his son, Liam, now 11 years old, to come tye a few of their favorite flies for us at the Tyer’s Table. 

Liam fishes and tyes everything from Bass flies to summer steelhead flies and I’m sure that is what he will be sharing with us on Saturday, November 25th. Liam loves red, blue, black, and purple, and when the boys were young, they would always buy a package of midnight dubbing, because they thought it was an awesome color and have figured out a way to tie it into all sorts of creations.

Maybe you have a young person in your household who would be inspired to learn from another youngster and his Dad. Seeing the camaraderie between Rick’s boys is very touching, and we welcome you to join us for this special event.
