The Mouse that Roared Fly Tying Contest

We're calling it the "Mouse that Roared" Tying contest, and the rules are simple...it needs to look like a mouse. Foam, fur, feathers, leather, all materials, and designs are welcome in this tying challenge. You just need to make it look like a mouse and be cast with a 7-weight rod with a floating line. While "Mousing" may be something new to anglers here in the NW, it nevertheless can provide exciting action when casting for oversized trout and bass. Perhaps you need to try it sometime.

So, get started! Tye up your idea of the perfect mouse patterns (2 entries per person) and get them turned in at the shop by September 30th. Winners will be announced in the newsletter on October 5th.

Prizes include fly-tying goodies from Hareline, Rio fly lines, and Loon Tying tools.
