Cookie Lady Coat and Canned Food Drive

Sometimes the need is just too great to be ignored. We kicked off our Cookie Lady Coat Drive last week; then area Food Banks put out a desperate call for help. Well, we are not only part of the fly fishing community, but we live here, and this is our home. If there is a need and we can help, we will. To that end, we are running our Coat Drive and Canned Food Drive simultaneously and have scored some great raffle prizes. Please answer the call and donate what you can. Thank you!

The Prizes

TThe Grand Prize for our Coat and Canned Food Drive is a beautiful Scott Centric 5wt rod, perfect for chasing scrappy Redsides and one of our favorite sticks. And if that wasn't enough, we're adding a custom Nautilus XM reel to the outfit! But wait, it gets a lot better! The second and third-place winners will be our guests on the Deschutes River* for a drift from Warm Spring to Trout Creek. The fourth-place winner takes home a new Hardy Marquis Salmon 1 that will look great on that Spey rod Santa is bringing you! Costa sunglasses, Wingo gear, the prize list keeps growing! Bring in your donations today!

*That's right, Josh, Randy, Bryan, Joel&Jennifer will be your host for a May 1st drift on the Deschutes River. Enjoy a gourmet shore lunch, expert casting instruction (we all need it), and angling tips from the best in the business. This will be an epic day on the water!

The Beneficiaries

All canned goods donated will be going to the West Linn Food Pantry in Old Willamette. The coats collected are going to the non-profit American Military Encouragement Network (or AMEN for short). AMEN offers assistance and encouragement to homeless veterans, active and reserve military personnel, service men and women, and military families in Oregon and SW Washington.
Please bring clean, lightly used, or new coats, jackets, OR unexpired canned food to the shop (21570 Willamette Drive, West Linn) before 4:00 PM, December 17th. One raffle ticket per coat or 10-cans of food.
