We're kicking off our Cookie Lady Canned Food and Coat Drive next week and are stacking up some great prizes! Last year, we brought in over 330 coats and 3000 pounds of canned food. This year, the Cookie Lady has set a goal of 500 coats! Well, we don't want to let her down! Not only part of the fly fishing community, but we live here, and this is our home. If there is a need and we can help, we will. To that end, we are once again running our Coat Drive and Canned Food Drive simultaneously and are scoring some great raffle prizes. Please answer the call and donate what you can. Thank you!
We've started collecting prizes for this year's raffle, so standby! So far we have Sage Reel and fly lines, but the list is growing...
All canned goods donated will be going to the West Linn Food Pantry in Old Willamette. The coats collected are going to the non-profit American Military Encouragement Network (or AMEN for short). AMEN offers assistance and encouragement to homeless veterans, active and reserve military personnel, service men and women, and military families in Oregon and SW Washington.
Please bring clean, lightly used, or new coats, jackets, to the shop before October 28th. The Cookie Lady is leaving town on vacation and wants to get the coats turned in before she leaves.
Your unexpired canned food needs to dropped off at the shop by the 28th as well, because Jennifer and I are off to Cuba and want to get your donation to the Pantry before we leave. We'll hold the raffle at 4:00 PM on the 28th and winners will be contacted via phone or email.
Drop your donations at 21570 Willamette Drive, West Linn) before 4:00 PM, 28th.
One raffle ticket per coat or 10-cans of food. Please make sure coats are clean, and food in unexpired.
