Trailer Trash Thursday "Keepemwet edition"

Joel La Follette - Wednesday, February 03, 2016

This week I grabbed a vintage F3T favorite by Bryan Huskey. I'm sure you will remember it fondly.  After the film, take a few minutes to check out Keepemwet Fishing and enter their Instagram contest. You could win a new Scott G2 fly rod!

Doc of The Drakes- "Hit 'em Again Doc!" 5 min Short from bryan huskey on Vimeo.

As a young child on the Oregon Coast, then another decade in Central Oregon, there aren't many Oregon river banks that photographer and filmmaker Bryan Huskey hasn't scrambled along. The better part of a dozen more years in Boise, Idaho have provided the formative inspiration for his work, particularly photographing fish of these regions.

During a presentation in 2010 he coined the phrase "Keep 'Em Wet" encouraging photographers to get their cameras closer and leave fish in the water. With the rise of camera phones and social media he turned that phrase into #keepemwet, promoting better handling of fish photographed before release. Since then the tag has developed into a movement, and Bryan now devotes his time to promoting this awareness with Keepemwet Fishing. He is also an ambassador for Fishpond USA and member of Scott Fly Rods pro staff.
