Trout Bum Road Trip

Joel La Follette - Thursday, October 12, 2017

Now, this map is a bit different. When you click on it you can see where I am, live. This is a link to my inReach satellite navigation system. When I head off on an adventure I use this satellite GPS/Communicator to stay in touch with my lovely wife and the guys back in the shop. This week, I'm allowing access to my location and satellite messages as I travel to Bozeman and back. This link will only be live from 10/13/17 to 10/23/17.

If you click at the top left of the map page you can switch between topo maps and satellite images. If you find yourself somewhere along my route, flag me down and say hello.

You'll also be able to see satellite messages I post along the way and waypoints I mark. Messages will show up as a blue square, just click them to read.

I just thought this would be a fun way to share this trek to Montana. Follow me on Instagram @flytyer27 & @joellafollette for photos from the trip. See you soon!

Back Roads and Dust

Joel La Follette - Thursday, July 06, 2017

Getting off the beaten path or just exploring a road you have never driven before is an adventure just waiting for you. Here are a few photographs from my West Slope Cutthroat adventure. I hope they inspire you to #outfitandexplore

Until the next adventure, travel safe, travel often.
