The Summerberry was originally tyed using leftover materials from other projects. It gets it name from a pie served at the Steamboat Inn on the North Umpqua; a pie made up of all the leftover berries of summer...

Peacock Spyder

The Spyder is a simple fly to tye and only takes a few materials. Try different colors but always have some in chartreuse, they’re deadly.

Hook: Daichii 2151 in size 2 or your favorite steelhead hook

The Royal Treatment

The first time I tyed and fished this fly (Oct. 1996)I was treated to two beautiful native steelhead on the Deschutes followed by the most spectacular sunrise the world has ever seen. I figure I had been given the Royal Treatment...
