Details

Are you interested in dipping your toes into the Spey game? Well, the best way to start the adventure is with an introductory class so you can understand the concept and make a better tackle selection to meet your needs. We're offering a 3-hour on-the-water Spey Casting Class that is perfect for teaching you the basics and getting you on the water with a two-handed rod.

Skagit, Scandi and all the other secret words of the Spey fraternity will be covered during this class. You will leave with a fundamental understanding of Spey casting, the tackle required and a few casts to try out on your favorite Steelhead stream.

This class is limited to 12 students and is taught on the Clackamas River at Barton Park from 9:00 to 12:00 on Sunday, February 24th.

Rods are available for use in this class. Please let us know if you need to borrow a rod when you register.

Cost of this class is $85.00 per student.
